Story

On a recent trip with my spouse, we visited the mountainous state of Himachal Pradesh and spent a few days near Prashar lake in the Mandi district. Away from the hustle and bustle of city life and with zero mobile connectivity, we spent our time trekking, exploring the beauty of the place, and completely immersing ourselves in nature. The peace I felt there was a soothing balm to my restless soul. The green mountains, cool breeze, and the lake rejuvenated my soul. When I resume my daily routine, I was a changed person. I was at peace.

Description

Kala cotton is an indigenous strain of cotton that is native to the Kutch area of Gujrat. While the plant is hardy and resilient even in adverse climatic conditions, the fabric produced from it offers excellent durability, quality and comfort. What makes kala cotton so special is the way in which it is grown – the crop is completely rain fed, and no chemical fertilizers are used in its cultivation. This makes kala cotton a sustainable textile choice.
